Maracajaú

Crystal clear water lakes, dunes, coconut trees and beautiful beaches surround this peaceful fishing village on the ’Potiguar’ coast. You’ll find an area of environmental protection that has as its principle attraction the coral reef formations – the ‘parrachos’, as the natives call them, only 15 minutes from the coast. There you’ll find a favorable place to spend unforgettable moments. Beaches – There are several beaches each one different and unique: Zumbi Punaú, Pititnga, Santa Cruz, Caraúbas, Ponta Gorda, Coqueiral and cape of São Roque, this last being the most eastern point in the Americas.
